Frequently Asked Questions

Do the bowls contain any allergens?

All of our bowls are made in a facility free from wheat, egg, peanuts, fish, shellfish, sulfites, and lupin. The only tree nut we processed is coconut.

We have a robust food safety plan to ensure that we do not have allergen cross contamination. We test our facility daily to ensure your products are safe and allergen-free as labeled.

Are all of your bowls certified gluten-free?

No. We are discontinuing our participation in the GFCO gluten-free certification program because we perform both internal and third-party testing to ensure no gluten is present in our products - with oversight from the FDA. Internally, we test our products using AOAC (Association of Official Agricultural Chemists) approved methods down to 5 ppm. Gluten-free certification only requires less than 10 ppm, compared to our internal levels of 5ppm. We are proud to have higher standards than most certifying organizations! We are not certified gluten-free but our products are definitely gluten-free.

Are all of your bowls Non-GMO?

Yes, we are proud to say that all of our ingredients are Non-GMO.

How long is the bowl good after opening?

We recommend eating the bowl within 3-4 days of opening the protective film seal.

Do you use preservatives?

No. We never use preservatives, artificial ingredients, or fillers.

Do the bowls need to be refrigerated?

Yes! Our bowls are prepared and stored fresh for maximum flavor and nutrition, and like any refridgerated product it is perishable.

How long should I heat up my bowl?

Microwave: Empty entire tub into microwave safe bowl, heat on high for 2 minutes, stir well, and heat on high for one more minute. Stove Top: Empty entire tub into saucepan, put on medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
